With over a decade in the market, Coberchapas has become a benchmark in the B2B sector, with 90% of its operations focused on serving businesses.
The company offers a wide range of products. These include awning tarps, aluminum composite panels (ACM), hollow and solid polycarbonate sheets, polyurethane and silicone sealants, among other materials that enhance and beautify commercial façades, making them more attractive and visually striking for customers.
What started as a small project in a garage selling awning tarps, quickly grew into something much bigger. With an unwavering commitment to quality from day one, Coberchapas expanded its operations across southern Minas Gerais, into Belo Horizonte, and further into western Minas and southern Goiás, also reaching interior regions of São Paulo.
The Challenge: Scaling logistics with business growth
As sales expanded, especially through e-commerce channels, Coberchapas faced a growing logistical challenge: the volume of deliveries grew quickly, and managing them manually started becoming increasingly complex.
"Because our processes were manual, it was difficult to track the location of our trucks and monitor which deliveries had been completed. This impacted communication with both our operations team and our customers," recalls Dácio Garcia, Logistics Manager at Coberchapas.
It became clear that an urgent logistics restructuring was needed. That’s when they began searching for a solution that could automate and optimize their processes. Their search led them to Drivin—a transportation management system that not only met their needs but also offered a plug-and-play model, easy integration, and an always-available support team ready to assist.

Drivin: A success story at Coberchapas
“We needed a solution that would not only restructure our operations but also provide agility — Drivin gave us exactly that and adapted quickly to our reality. In spite of the training period, the intuitive interface made it easy for our team to adopt the system without major hurdles,” says Dácio.

Technology that transforms operations
In July 2022, Coberchapas signed on with Drivin, and within just one month, they were managing all their logistics operations through the platform. The benefits were immediate: better fleet control, improved driver organization, and significant optimization in the tracking of products, deliveries, and returns.
Previously, delivery tracking relied on manual records, leading to delays and bottlenecks in both logistics and financial flows.
With the implementation of digital proof of delivery, Coberchapas not only streamlined the process but also simplified reporting and real-time information access. This allowed for much smoother communication with the company’s 20 outsourced drivers.
Today, Coberchapas has full visibility over completed deliveries, pending shipments, and any routes that need to be rescheduled — enhancing customer relationships by providing greater transparency and reliability.
Tangible results with Drivin
Over the past few years, Coberchapas has expanded its fleet from 6 to 21 vehicles, with 4 owned outright. This mixed fleet includes trucks of various sizes, with an average of 12 vehicles covering between 8,000 and 9,000 kilometers daily — maximizing efficiency with Drivin’s support.
Their logistics operation directly involves 20 employees across two distribution centers located in Franca and Sorocaba. Thanks to route optimization and efficient resource management, Coberchapas has achieved an estimated savings of R$ 120,000 (around USD 24,000) according to a 2023 study.
Looking ahead
Having gained full autonomy, practicality, and end-to-end visibility in their operations, Coberchapas is now planning to take their partnership with Drivin even further. They are currently working on a full integration between their ERP and the Drivin system, leveraging the advanced optimization capabilities powered by Drivin’s artificial intelligence.
Drivins' Customer Success team is already collaborating closely with Coberchapas to ensure this next phase is just as successful as the initial implementation.
“We’re confident this process will be as excellent as everything we’ve achieved so far. Whenever we’ve had a problem, Drivin’s team has always responded with effective solutions, and I have no doubt this will continue in the future,” concludes Dácio Garcia.
